Canon PowerShot SD1300IS 12 MP Digital Camera with 4x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD

I heard some cameras could be used as webcams on computers, and some couldn’t. I recently plugged in my canon powershot a480, but not that sure if it can be used a webcam. Any help?
