I could have sworn I saw a regular TV that said it was a flat screen are plasmas and flat screens the same or are they different?

My 42 inch Plasma screen just went out does anyone now how to fix this problem?

I have a 42″ LG plasma screen. There is a 4″ black bar that runs horizontally across the screen when it’s turned on. Is it worth fixing?

I need to replace my 50″ plasma TV that was stolen from my house. Originally I paid about $3150 at Sears plus tax and delivery. I now see that if I order it online, I can get it for about $2500. But I’m not sure if I trust having it shipped to my house, because I know how fragile the plasma screens are. Of course, I have no idea how Sears treated the TV I bought as it was being delivered (and the delivery guys were kind of sleazy anyway).

So, has anyone out there successfully ordered a big screen plasma TV online, and had it shipped to your house, and received it with no problems and no damage? If so, where did you buy it and how was it shipped? Thanks in advance.

If I play video games on a plasma screen TV will it burn into the screen even if I remember to turn the TV off as soon as I get done playing the game. I thought if I shut it off as soon as I was done I wouldn’t have any burn in. Let me know if there is any way that I can still play games and have the plasma TV too! Thanks!

We have had our plasma screen for almost a year and the screen has just started looking like it needs to be cleaned anyone have a clue on how to do that

I recently purchased a plasma screen TV. I have it hooked up with Cogeco Digital Cable (HD), and a surround sound system. When watching DVDs that don’t fill the screen, or some channels with Digital Cable, there is a line either on the top or right of the screen (where the picture ends). It’s distracting when watching a movie, and I’m curious if there’s a way to fix this. The line is pink or white, and is part of the actual picture, it is dashed (- – - – - – -) and extends across the entire picture.

Last night while watching our Samsung plasma screen there was a very loud “pop” noise and then it immediately died. No picture, no sound. When you plug it in there is a “clicking” sound coming from the back but still no picture or sound. Anyone have any thoughts. Of course the technician can’t come out until the end of next week.

My T.V. is a maxent Plasma screen and I was wondering how to connect it to the internet because it says “internet connection available”?
