I heard some cameras could be used as webcams on computers, and some couldn’t. I recently plugged in my canon powershot a480, but not that sure if it can be used a webcam. Any help?

I have a fuji film digital camera and I would like to use it as a webcam. There’s one problem and that’s that I do not know how to do it. So how would I use the digital camera as a webcam?

Can you use a jailbroke iphone that functions just like a regular webcam? Ive seen apps that makes the iphone a webcam but it only works in ichat or other programs. Also, i use windows.
