How do I set up a speaker system to output the same audio on 5+ speakers throughout a showroom?
I have a computer providing the audio output, and already have a variety of speakers around the showroom. Am wondering how to get the same audio to play in all the speakers? Half the room’s speakers already have wire running to the computer area – the other half don’t. Is there a way to set up a receiver by the computer, and then have another wireless receiver set up on the other side of the showroom to connect the other speakers to?
Thanks in advance for any help!
How should speaker wire be placed in wall studs for in wall speakers?
I’m building a house and am wiring for surround sound. I would like to place speakers in the walls and in the ceiling. How should the speaker wire be placed so I can add speakers after drywall is up and the speaker wire is hidden so it is easy to access and not impacted when they put up the drywall.
How do I wire up speakers for my patio and garage?
I have an amp, so I assume that I need to connect a speaker selector to it since I want to send music to a pair of speakers on my deck, garage, and kitchen. I intend to put a volume control in each room. If each control will control 2 speakers, the left and right channels, do i have to run 2 wires from the amp to each volume control?
Can the front and back speakers of my surround sound system be separated by different distances?
Because my lounge is L shaped, the front speakers are going to be about 3 metres apart, but the back two speakers are going to be about 5 metres apart.
Is this ok?
Our sofa will be placed parallel to the front speakers (i.e. only cover the 3 metres of the back wall). There will be a dining table in the other 2 metre gap.
thanks for any help!

I have messed around with the settings a little bit and i know i can change all of the speakers from a -10 to a +10 I am wondering how i should set these for the best bass. I have tried to turn all of the speakers down but the subwoofer, but the sound that comes through the speakers is distorted. Any help would be appreciated =)
How come my speakers with subwoofer only work for some music online?
I have 4 speakers and a subwoofer hooked up to my computer. When I play some music online like from yahoo videos or aol videos, there are only a couple songs that actually come through the speakers. Why is this? All the other songs go through the monitor speaker. And it sounds terrible. Does it have anything to do with the song itself or the feed thats coming from these sites? I need to feel the vibration!
