How do I turn off my headphones and turn on my speakers on my laptop running Windows Vista?
I recently dropped my laptop with the headphones still attached. The result was a broken headphone jack. My problem now is that there is no sound coming from the speakers even though the headphones are no longer connected. I have searched the Sony support website to no avail, they only offer solutions for a fee. Any info or insight would be greatly appreciated. : ) BTW the model number is VGN-AR720e, just in case. Thanks for the knowledge : ) Sasha.
Do headphones adapter lower the quality of the music noticeable?
I have a Samsung behold and I am planning to buy some noise cancelling headphones but unfortunately they have a proprietary headphone jack so I was just planning to get an adapter plug but I don’t know if that will ruin the point of having a good headphone (wow..long sentence). I prefer to use my phone as a mp3 player so I don’t have to carry two things at once. Any ideas on how the quality of the music will be affected or it really doesn’t matter?
What headphones should i get for my studio?

What are some good headphones under 200 dollars besides Skullcandy?
I have BOSE tri-port 3 slim headphones which i got a year ago for 190 dollars. Is there other headphones that will give me better quality of sound. I mainly want more bass and clarity without a use of a headphone amp. I don’t care for skullcandy but the Hesh series I’m worried to try because I want through many pairs of skullcandy becausethey sound like junk.
How can I use headphones using my TVs audio outputs for external devices?
I have a great lcd tv that has no headphone jack.(well, great except for no headphone jack) Is there anyway I can get headphones to work using the two (left and right) audio output jacks for external devices? Are there headphones with plugs made for this that has a amplifier built in? Or do I need to get some sort of device I can plug into these jacks that has a headphone jack in it?
What kind of headphones offer good quality sound and are comfortable for under $100?
I currently use the regular iPod headphones with my iPod Touch, but I would like to get higher quality sound and have more comfort. I do not like headphones that are bulky and go outside of the ears either. I found some nice Bose ones, but they are $130. Are there any good ones that are more affordable?
